Projekti rahastab Euroopa Liidu Interregi Läänemere piirkonna programm.

Projekti eelarve: 3 767 755,15 € (sh ERDF 3 568 008,15 €)
TREA eelarve: 173 070,00 €

Projekti kestus: 2017−2020

Projekti eesmärk:
Contributing to the reduction of energy waste and greenhouse gas emissions in the Baltic Sea Region by promoting sustainable and efficient energy supply systems.

Projekti tegevused:
LowTEMP addresses municipal representatives responsible for urban and energy issues, heat suppliers, planners, engineers and energy agencies, and provides them with knowledge on technical, organisational and financial strategies to implement low temperature district heating.

Within the LowTEMP project, partners from nine Baltic Sea region countries come together to make the district heating supply in their municipalities and regions, and in other Baltic Sea regions, more sustainable by integrating low temperature district heating solutions. Project activities provide local and regional authorities as well as other institutions responsible for the energy supply, with the know-how and strategic tools on how to plan, finance, install and manage low temperature district heating systems. This shall lead to the restructuring of the existing district heating systems towards future sustainable low temperature district heating grids. More efficient energy supply systems mean energy saving, better economy and cleaner air in Baltic Sea region.
